WARNING
The control panel on this machine is fi tted with a USB socket for a mass storage device. In
order to gain access to the socket, a waterproof cover must be removed. This cover must be
replaced after access to the USB socket to maintain the waterproof rating of the machine.
Failure to replace the cover properly may result in water damage to your machine and will
invalidate the warranty.
Introduction
The IQ³+ metal detector that you have been supplied with is a standard IQ³ detector fi tted with a "+"
colour touch screen user interface. You will, therefore, have been supplied with this supplement and
a user manual for the IQ³.
Refer to this supplement for guidance on how to navigate the screens on the user interface. Refer
to the IQ³ User Manual for any other information, including details of the confi guration of machine
settings. Above all, this product is designed to be intuitive to use, so once you have read this
supplement all other guidance will be provided through the user interface of the machine.
Each of the screens on the IQ³+ has context sensitive help. This can be accessed by simply pressing
the "i" icon (information button) located in the bottom right hand corner of each screen. This will give
you detailed information on what each of the variable settings do. In addition, you can download
each help screen to the USB port for storage on a memory stick - this can then be viewed or printed
out on a PC.
