Problem
Blurred or • You may printing on the wrong side of the paper. Turn
smudged ink the paper over and print on the other side.
• The paper may not meet paper specifications (for
example, too moist or too rough). See "Paper Selection"
on page 2.2.
• Let the ink dry before handling the paper.
Characters with • The print cartridge may be almost empty. Check the
white lines contacts of the print cartridge and replace, if necessary.
• The print cartridges may need to be cleaned. See
"Cleaning the Print Cartridges" on page 6.3.
Characters are • The print media is loaded incorrectly or is an
improperly formed unsupported size or type. Use the print media specified
or not aligned in "Paper Selection" on page 2.2.
