Setting the Discard Size

When receiving or copying a document as long as or longer
than the paper loaded in the paper bin, you can set the
product to discard any excess images at the bottom of the
page, to fit on to the paper size in use.

discarding parts of the received faxes does not take place.

Press Setup. The display shows "1.SYSTEM SETUP" on
the bottom line.
Press Enter.
Press or repeatedly until you see "LANGUAGE",
and press Enter.
Press the Scroll buttons (
the desired language.
The following options can be selectable: English,
German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, or Dutch.
Press Enter to save the selection and return to Standby
mode.
: If the Auto Reduction feature (page 5.40) is turned ON,
Press Setup. The display shows "1.SYSTEM SETUP" on
the bottom line.
Press Enter.
