Creating the BIOS Upgrade Floppy Diskette
The BIOS upgrade file is a compressed self-extracting archive that contains the files
you need to upgrade the BIOS.
1. Copy the BIOS upgrade file to a temporary directory on your hard disk.
2. Extract the files and then copy them to a bootable floppy disk.
3. Read the README.TXT file, which contains the instructions for the BIOS
upgrade.
Upgrading the BIOS
1. Boot the computer with the floppy disk in drive A.
One of the files copied will take the form DA8xxxx.bin The "xxxx" represents the
BIOS version identifier.

/py/wb/cd/sn/cc/r/f" This will start the flash utility.
3. When the utility displays the message upgrade is complete, press any key to
restart or power off the system.
4. As the computer boots, check the BIOS identifier (version number) to make sure
the upgrade was successful.

7. Set the options in the Setup program to the settings you wrote down before the
BIOS upgrade.
