- Page 3 Installation The FW106 FireWire Repeater Hub will make a connection between as many as 63 FireWire compatible peripheral devices and a host computer with a FireWire socket installed in a PC or MAC style computer. All devices can be hot-plugged so disconnecting power is not necessary.
