3. Parental Control
• Box lock active: Using this option the whole receiver may be blocked: To unlock
the receiver the PIN code must be entered. The receiver stays in an unlocked state
until it goes back to standby mode or is turned off.
• Channel lock active: If the channel lock feature is active, individual channels
may be marked as locked. To temporary unlock a locked channel, the

state until a channel change is done.
• Lock Channels: In the "Lock Channels" view, you can control which channels
should be locked by a PIN code.

4. Timer
Timers are used to program the receiver to wake up at a certain time and tune to a
specified channel.
Timers are normally used to record a TV programme on the video recorder, or to
pre-program the receiver for other reasons (wake-up, etc). A set timer causes the
receiver to wake up from standby mode at the specified time and change the
channel to the specified one. Please note that the VCR must be programmed
separately.
If you use a timer to record a TV show to i.e. a video recorder (VCR), also remember
to program your video recorder in parallel at the same time as you have set the
timer in the receiver.
Note: If you use the SCART connector from the receiver to your VCR, most VCR's
should be set to record from 0 channel.
5. System Configuration
System Configuration menues are used to control the more advanced features of
the receiver, such as doing regional settings, channel searches and other system
settings.
