. Lock Channel: Sets a permanent lock on the current channel.
This option is only available if "Channel lock active:" is set to "On" in the "Parental
Control" menu.
If a locked channel is encountered it can be unlocked by pressing the
and typing the PIN code. Please note that this is only a temporary unlock which is
reset when a another channel is selected.
To permanently remove the lock from a locked channel, see the "Parental Control"
menu.
Note: Some changes under "Options" are only valid for the programme you are
currently watching. If you leave the programme, the settings will be gone. To read
more about default options to these settings, please see the "System Configuration"
help chapter.
To close the "Options" menu, press
6.C. The TV Guide
• The Daily Guide conveniently shows all the TV programmes of a specific day
for one channel at a time. The buttons used to navigate between channels and
different time periods are described in the footer of the view.

The TV guide starts empty and is filled with program information over a period of
time. When new information arrives, it is shown directly on screen. The time to
complete the process of fully filling the guide with data may take several minutes.
Depending on the TV network, you may not be able to watch a TV channel when
the guide is open, due to the fact that all TV guide information is broadcasted on a
special TV channel.
6.D. Digital Teletext
• Pressing
will open the teletext pages mode, if teletext is transmitted at
the current channel.
• Use the 0..9 numeric buttons to enter a new page number.

to move a highlight focus between the page numbers
displayed on the screen, and
open the highlighted page.
• To go to the next or previous transmitted teletext page, press

Note: The receiver also passes the teletext pages through to your TV. This
technique is known as VBI (vertical blank insertions). This means that you can
also use your TV's remote control to open and use the teletext pages, using the
built in teletext functions in the TV. VBI works with most new TV sets, but not all:
Try to adjust "Signal:" setting to "RGB" or "CVBS" in the "TV and Audio Settings"
menu.
