Transferring Guest Checks to Another Server

Guest check transfer is a management function, meaning that the keylock must be in the X-
Mode position.
In the event that responsibility for an active guest check has to be passed to a different server,
follow these guidelines:

Combining Guest Checks for Payment

On occasion, the need may arise to pay several guest checks all at once. This is also
considered a management function, and takes place with the keylock in the X-Mode position.
NOTE: If it is necessary to exit this mode once it is entered, press CANCEL to return to
REG mode.

Sign on the server accepting the active guest check(s),
CASHIER
Turn the keylock to the X-Mode position and press
the CASHIER key again to initiate the transfer
CASHIER
sequence.
CHECK #
Enter the tracking number(s) of the guest check(s)
CHECK #
being transferred to this server,
CHECK #
SERVICE
Press the SERVICE key to finalize.
Sign on the server accepting the active guest check(s),
CASHIER
Turn the keylock to the X-Mode position and press
the CASHIER key again to initiate the combining
CASHIER
sequence.
CHECK #
Enter the tracking number(s) of the guest check(s)
CHECK #
being paid by this server,
Press the SUBTOTAL key to display the total amount
CHECK #
due
Close the transaction to a tender key as you would
any other transaction.
