System and Network Setup 2-1 Hardware and Software Installation Hardware Installation:- Please follow the below mentioned instructions to build the network connection between your new WIRELESS router and your computers, network devices: 1. Connect your xDSL / cable modem to the WAN port of the router by an Ethernet cable.

There are two ways to assign IP addresses to computers: static IP address (set the IP address for every computer manually), and dynamic IP address (IP address of computers will be assigned by router automatically).
