COMPONENT SERVICABILITY
COMPRESSOR
The compressor is a MATSUSHITA, rated at 789
BTU/H (231W) using relay (WR7X240) and capacitor
(WR62X79). It is protected by an external overload
protector (WR8X169).
REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
Minimum compressor capacity vacuum is 21 in. Hg,
with equalized pressure after defrost:

The system uses R134a refrigerant (4.62 oz.). A
new filter/dryer is used with R134a systems to
chemcially neutralize contaminates which may have
entered into the sealed system during manufacture.
Since the new models use R134a, it means the
dryer/filter must be replaced anytime the system is
broken. The dryer on this model is not the standard
design, and can only be replace with the correct part
number (WR86X10006).
Evaporator coils and tube assembly (WR85X10011) ,
evaporator fan, heat exchanger through cabinet wall
are accessed through the freezer compartment floor.
EVAPORATOR/FREEZER FLOOR
After removing all the freezer components, including
air duct at the rear wall, remove the freezer floor
To remove freezer floor:
1. Remove four screws at the sides of the freezer
floor.
2. Push the floor back toward the rear of the
refrigerator cabinet.
