COMPONENT SERVICABILITY
CABINET STRUCTURE
The outer case (top and sides) is made of prepainted
steel that reveals a textured appearance, with door
having a unique rounded appearance at the corners.
The fresh floor and freezer liners are thermo-formed co-
extruded ABS plastic. Fresh food and freezer door
gaskets are magnetic with metal retainer strips held in
place by screws, attaching strip to door. Lifting inside
lip of door gasket reveals screws around perimeter of
door, gasket can be lifted off when all the retainers
screws are removed. Care should be used to prevent
pinching gasket when replacing retainer strips to
prevent gasket leakage.
BASE GRILLE
Grille snaps into place on either side with plastic tabs,
engaging lower base frame. To remove grille, pull grille
from top towards yourself and rotate to remove. To
replace, align the mounting tabs and repeat procedure.
DOOR CLOSURE MECHANISM
The door closure mechanism consist of a lever and
spring assembly mounted to the front of the lower base
frame.
To remove the assembly:
1. Remove the base grille.
2. Using square jaw pliers, grip end of spring firmly with
pliers and pull from hook on lever.
3. Remove spring from cabinet base frame.
To reassemble:
Reverse procedure above, first placing spring on lever
to ease installation.
LEVELING SYSTEM AND ROLLER
ASSEMBLY
The TNX22 series has a total of 6 rollers to level the
refrigerator. Two front and two back rollers are
adjustable from the front, and two main rear fixed
rollers. This permits adjustment at all four corners to
accomodate leveling for built in cabinetry.
To adjust the refrigerator: Turn adjustment screws
counterclockwise to lower, clockwise to raise.
Use a 5/16" socket wrench to turn the screws for the
rear rollers, and a 3/8" socket wrench for the front
rollers.
