Freezer Evaporator

The following components must be removed in the
appropriate order to access the freezer evaporator:
1. Unplug the refrigerator.
2. Remove the ice bucket, shelves, and drawers.
3. Using a small fl at-blade screwdriver, expand
the 2 clips and disconnect the icemaker wire
harness from the auger motor assembly.

Note: The icemaker is held to the left side freezer
wall with a Phillips-head screw, spacer, and 2 posts.
4. Remove the single Phillips-head screw from the
icemaker.

5. Rotate the icemaker to the right, then pull the
left side towards the front to disengage it from
the 2 posts.

6. Remove the four ¼-in. hex-head screws from
the front of the auger motor assembly.
7. Lift the auger motor assembly up, pull it forward,
and disconnect the wire harness.
8. Remove the four ¼-in. hex-head screws
that attach the QuickFreeze
equipped), to the 2 mounting brackets.
