I) Remove 40cm of labels from the roll (approx. 10 labels).
II) Open the access door of the scale.
III) Raise the thermal printhead rotating its lever clockwise.
IV) Rotate counterclockwise the handle with the legend
V) Pull the cartridge from the scale holding it with both hands taking it from the

XI) Pass the paper between the rewinder slots and rotate the rewinder's padlock counterclockwise this is to press
the backing paper.
XII) Rotate the rewinder counterclockwise to the backing paper is tight.
XIII) In case you were using another paper type or label, It is very important to adjust the paper width adjust (see top
drawing in superior view).
XIV) If the smart cartridge its activate, change the selector button, in this case is label would be in the "B", "C" or "D"
position.
XV) Insert the cartridge into the scale
XVI) Rotate clockwise the handle with the legend
XVII) Bring down the thermal printhead rotating its lever counterclockwise.
XVIII) Close the access door.
XVI) If your scale don't have the smart cartridge activate its necessary change the printing format to labels (see page
14 of the programming manual), or select the label type in the smart cartridge changing the position of the
selector button. Only if the smart cartridge its activate.
Note: It is important to mention that label is the same as the selected label type in your smart cartridge so your scale
detect it, if not you can change the selector plug according to the label in the cartridge.

backing paper (after the XIII step) cut the adhesive paper just at the border of the tear off plate, then continue with the
same steps
