Changing The Paper Roll - Tor-Rey LSQ Series User Manual

I) Open the access door placed at the right of the scale.
II) Raise the thermal printhead rotating its lever clockwise.
III) Rotate counterclockwise the handle with the legend
IV) Pull the cartridge from the scale holding it with both hands taking it from the
V) When the cartridge is out, take up the handle with the legend
and remove it.
VI) Place the new paper roll in the padlock with the legend
VII) Pass the paper through the paper guide as it is shown in the top drawing in the lateral view.
VIII) Leave the end of the paper just over the tear off plate.
IX) In case you were using another kind of paper, It is very important to adjust the paper width adjust (see top
drawing in superior view).
X) If the smart cartridge its activated, change the selector button, in this case like is paper must be in the "A"
position.
XI) Insert the cartridge into the scale
XII) Rotate clockwise the handle with the legend
XIII) Move down the thermal printhead rotating its lever counterclockwise.
XIV) Close the access door.
XV) If your scale don't have the smart cartridge activated its necessary change the printing format to paper (see
page 14 of the programming manual), or select the paper type in the smart cartridge changing the position of
the selector plug. Only if the smart cartridge its activated.
Note: It is important to mention that the placed match with the selected paper type in your smart cartridge in order to your
scale detect it, if not you can change the selector button according to the paper in the cartridge (in this case is paper should
be in the "A" hole).
