Message Retrieval

To see your messages
when your Message light
is on (while on-hook,
off-hook, or on a call)
To return a call to the
message sender
To erase a message
To see a coworker's
messages (can be during a
call with the coworker)

Inspect

Press the call appearance of the held call
•
Information is shown on the display screen;
you remain connected to the present call

To return to the held call, press
appearance button of the held call

Press Message Retrieve

Next Message
(and then for each following message)

Pick up handset or activate the speakerphone

Return Call

Press Delete while any part of the message is shown

Select an idle call appearance button, or put the
coworker on hold and select an idle call appearance
button

Covr Msg Retrieve

Dial the coworker's extension
Note: You must first be designated as a
system-wide message retriever by your system
manager or your coworker must have Message
Retrieval coverage that allows a coverage point to
retrieve messages.

Press Next Message
(and then for each following message)
