Problem
Engine will not start
Engine starts, then dies
Engine starts and runs for several
minutes, then dies

Section 9: Troubleshooting Guide

Possible Cause
• Engine is not primed
• Out of fuel
• Improper fuel
• Improper glow plug
• Glow igniter not charged
• Dead glow plug
• Flooded engine
• Pressure line blocked or unhooked
• Reset needles to baseline setting
• Bad glow plug
• Idle speed set too low
• Improper needle settings
• Glow plug failed due to lean engine setting
Solution
• Put a few drops of fuel into the carburetor venturi
and restart
• Fill fuel tank
• Use 20% Blue Thunder
• Install proper glow plug
• Charge igniter
• Replace
• Remove glow plug, invert boat and engage the
TigerDrive to remove raw fuel from the engine
• Connect or replace fuel line
