In addition to information provided in this manual, Dell provides the System Users Guide for troubleshooting procedures and instruc- tions on using the Dell Diagnostics to test the computer system.

Unless otherwise noted, each procedure in this chapter assumes the following: ‡ The computer and any attached peripherals are turned off, and the peripherals are disconnected from the input/output (I/O) panel on the back of the computer.
