and DHCPv6 (for the IP and DNS settings) and provides spin boxes to
define two DNS addresses.
AuDi-MIP: Allows to enable AuDi-MIP. The IP addresses are
o
distributed to server and connection blades by using a common IP
address range.
Power Settings: Allows to enable PSU control, to adjust the PSU dynamic mode
and the PSU redundancy level, and to select the display unit for the power
consumption (Watt or BTU/h).
PIN Settings: The PIN menu enables the user to define a PIN number. The PIN
number protects the Local Service Display against unauthorized access.
Ekeying Check: Reports the number of ekeying mismatch conflicts. Shows the
details of each ekeying mismatch conflict.
Export Settings: The Export Settings menu is used to copy the current system
unit settings to a local file or a file on a USB memory stick.
Rack
When cascading system units ("Interconnect") are integrated into a rack, these are
displayed on this page. This view is enabled by means of Base Configuration Wizard –
Network Settings – Interconnect. If the rack contains only one system unit, just the view
of the upper left-hand navigation frame is repeated.
VIOM Manager
This page of the GUI appears only when the VIOM Manager has taken over control of
the server blades at least once. It displays the IP address of the Management Station on
which the VIOM Manager is running, as well as a software identifier (GUID) of the
VIOM Manager. All values manipulated by the VIOM Manager are reset via the control
box, i.e. the virtualization is canceled again.
