Installing and dismantling the saddle post with the saddle

In order to make it easier to transport your EPAC you can dismantle the saddle post and the saddle. The
saddle post is fastened with a clamp in the seat tube of the frame. The clamping is performed by means of a
quick-release axle and knurled nut.

If your EPAC has been retrofitted with a hub dynamo:
check the function of the lights.
See section 6.9, Checking the lights (optional).
Open the seat clamp on the quick-release lever.
See section 8.4.3, Opening and closing the quick-release axle on the saddle post clamp.
Pull the saddle together with the saddle post out of the frame.
If the insertion area is not greased:
Grease the insertion area of the saddle post.
