Securing the hard disk front panel
► Position the hard disk front panel in the guide openings on the bottom of the casing as illustrated.
► Fold the hard disk front panel in the direction of arrow (1) until you feel it engage.

Remove and install type 1 boards

You can install additional modules in order to increase the performance of your machine.
The number, position and arrangement of the board slots on the mainboard can be found in
the manual for the mainboard. Boards may already be installed on shipment.
Type 1 boards are installed at the lower rear area inside the casing.
If you have already installed a type 2 board, you must first of all remove it,
see "Remove and install type 2 boards", Page 69

Perform board installation

If you wish to install a type 1 board, you must first remove the board fan
and any type 2 boards which are present from the cross-piece. Then fold the
cross-piece upwards so that you can install the board.
This preliminary work is described in the following sections.
