or water connection.
What To Do
Water pressure must be
between 35 - 100 pounds
per square inch. A
minimum pressure of 35
pounds per square inch is
recommended for
refrigerators with water
filters.
Adjust freezer controls.

remove kinks. If kinks
cannot be removed,
replace tubing.
Reinstall Ice bin, p. 16.

and may clog the line over
time.*
If filter is not available,
replace with bypass filter.

Water pressure is low
normal
Improper water valve
installed.
Copper tubing has kinks
Water filter is clogged
or needs to be changed.
Water valve not opened
completely.

Refrigerator has been

Water appears cloudy
Air or air bubbles

Particles in water
Carbon dust from
and/or ice cubes
water filter cartridge
Concentrations of
minerals in water will
form particles when
becomes frozen and
melts.
What To Do
Water pressure must be
between 35 - 100 pounds
per square inch. A minimum
pressure of 35 pounds per
square inch is recommended
for refrigerators with water
filters.
Check water connection
procedure in installation
instructions. Self piercing
and 3/16" saddle valves
cause low water pressure and
may clog the line over time.*
Turn off water supply and
remove kinks. If kinks cannot
be removed, replace tubing.
Change water filter.
See p. 20.
Open water valve completely
and check for leaks. The
min. flow at dispenser is
approximately 10 fluid oz. in
nine seconds with a new filter
in place or 10 fluid oz. in five
seconds without a filter
Allow approximately 12
hours for water in
holding tank to chill.
This is normal when
first using the
dispenser and will
disappear with use.
Initial water ejected
through cartridge may
contain harmless carbon dust
flushed from cartridge. Will
disappear after the first few
uses.
Particles are not
harmful and naturally
occur in water supplies.
