Timer setting using EPG

You can select TV programmes using data from the EPG.
Press EPG.

Press a / b / c / d to select the programme

you want to set, and then press ENTER.
Press c / d to select the timer setting, and

then press ENTER.
• If you select "No", the TV returns to the EPG
screen.

This setting allows you to switch to a programme at a
set time.
1 Press c / d to select "Watch", and then press
ENTER.
2 Press c / d to select "Yes", and then press
ENTER.
3 Press ENTER to set time.
• The selected TV programme is marked with an icon.
NOTE
• When the country setting is set to "New Zealand", this function is
not available due to the use of MHEG-5 EPG.

Cancelling the timer setting

Press EPG.

Press a / b / c / d to select the programme on

timer setup, and then press ENTER.
Press c / d to select "Cancel", and then press

ENTER.
Press c/d to select "Yes", and then press

ENTER.
Press ENTER to cancel timer setup.

Time zone

This function enables you to select your local time zone.
Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

Press c / d to select "Setup".

Press b/c/d to select "View setting".

Press a / b to select "Individual setting", and

then press ENTER.
Press a / b to select "Time zone", and then

press ENTER.
Press a / b to select the desired time zone

and then press ENTER.
NOTE
• This function lets you select the right time zone in case the time
displayed in the EPG does not match the local time of your area.
• When the country setting is set to "Australia", this function is
available. When the country setting is set to "Singapore" or "New
Zealand", this function is not available.

MHEG-5 (EPG) setting

This function is set to enable MHEG-5 in DTV mode.
Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

Press c / d to select "Setup".

Press b / c / d to select "View setting".

Press a / b to select "Individual setting", and

then press ENTER.
Press a / b to select "MHEG-5 (EPG)", and

then press ENTER.
Press a / b to select "Enable" or "Disable",

and then press ENTER.
Selected item
Enable MHEG-5 is displayed during DTV mode.
Disable MHEG-5 is not displayed during DTV mode.
NOTE
• This function is only displayed for models for the New Zealand
market. This function is not displayed for models for the Singapore
or Australia market.
• When the country setting is set to "New Zealand" in the initial auto
installation, this function is available. When the country setting is set
to "Australia" or "Singapore", this item is grayed out and cannot be
selected.
• The MHEG-5 is not displayed when there is no MHEG-5 information
on broadcast in setting this function to "Enable".
• When this function is set to "Enable", subtitles may not be
displayed. If this occurs, set to "Disable" and then display of
subtitles will be possible.
