Miscellaneous Scanner Options

Introduction

This chapter includes commonly used bar codes to customize how the data is transmitted to the host device. In
addition to these bar codes for data formatting, see each host chapter for the appropriate host connections and
host device features for the scanner. See

Scanning Sequence Examples

In most cases, only one bar code needs to be scanned to set a specific parameter value.
Parameters, such as Prefix Value, require that several bar codes be scanned in the proper sequence. See
each individual parameter for descriptions of this procedure.

Errors While Scanning

Unless otherwise specified, if an error is made during a scanning sequence, re-scan the correct parameter.
