Setting Oven Controls
Sabbath mode (cont'd)
(for use on the Jewish Sabbath & Holidays)
To program the oven to begin baking and activate the

Sabbath mode:

1. Be sure that the clock is set with the correct time of day.
2. Arrange oven racks and close oven door.
3. If you desire to set the oven with a Cook Time or Delay
Start, do so at this time. If not, skip this step and
continue to step 4.
Refer to the Cook Time and Delay Start sections for
complete instructions. Please note that the oven will turn
off after the cook time is finished and therefore may
only be used once during the Sabbath/Jewish Holidays.
The maximum Delay Start time is 11 hours & 59 minutes.
4. Press Bake key pad. " — — — ° " appears in the
display.
5. Within 5 seconds, press
display will show 350°F (177°C). By holding
key pads, the oven temperature may be adjusted
in 5°F increments (1°C if the control is set to display
Celsius). As soon as the
the oven will begin heating to the selected temperature.
6. Press and hold both Cook Time and Delay Start key
pads simultaneously and release when the acceptance
tone sounds (for at least 3 seconds). SAb will appear in
the display indicating the Sabbath mode is active. Once
the Sabbath mode is active the oven control will no
longer provide tones or display any further changes.
You may change the oven temperature once baking has
started by holding the
Holidays only). The oven temperature will be adjusted in
5°F increments with each press of these key pads (1°C if
the control is set to display Celsius).
The oven may be turned OFF at any time by pressing
pad. If the Sabbath mode is active, this will turn the
oven OFF but does not turn off the Sabbath mode.
After the Sabbath observance turn OFF the Sabbath
feature.

To turn off the Sabbath mode:
Press and hold both the Cook Time and Delay Start key
pads until a tone sounds (for at least 3 seconds). SAb will
disappear from the display. SAb will disappear from the
display and the oven may be used with all functions
available and normal audible and display messages.
Should you experience a power failure or interruption, the
oven will shut off. When power is restored the oven will not
turn back on automatically. The oven will remember that it
is set for the Sabbath and the food may be safely removed
from the oven while still in the Sabbath mode, however the
oven cannot be turned back on until after the Sabbath.
Important notes:
• The oven must be properly set with an active Bake
function first before setting the Sabbath mode.
• Once the Sabbath mode is active the oven control will
no longer provide audible tones or display any further
changes.
• You may change the oven temperature once baking has
started by pressing or holding the

adjusted in 5°F increments with each press of these key
pads (1°C if the control is set to display Celsius).
