    Surface Controls Your range may be equipped with different sized surface burners. The ability to heat food quicker and in larger volumes increases as the burner size increases. The simmer burner (if equipped) is best used for simmering delicate sauces, etc.

    DO NOT line the oven walls, racks, bottom or any other part of the range with aluminum foil. Doing so will destroy heat distribution, produce poor baking results and cause permanent damage to the oven interior (aluminum foil will melt to the interior surface of the oven).

NOTE: The kitchen area should be ventilated using an open window, ventitlation fan or exhaust hood during the first self-clean cycle.

    Rinse and wipe dry with a clean cloth. Remove all cleaners orthe porcelain may become damaged during furture heating. DO NOT use spray oven cleaners on the range top. Clean with hot, soapy water and a dishcloth. Rinse with clean water and a cloth. Do not use cleaners with high concentrations scrubbing cleaners.
  • Page 17 Hold the door at the sides near the top. Insert the hinge arms into slots at the bottom of the door. Hinge arms must go into the range slots evenly. The hinge arms should be inserted into the bottom corners of the door as far as they can go.
