Depending on the typing input language that you are using, some shortcuts might not be available.
In a message
Reply to a message
Reply to all in an email or a PIN message
Forward a message
File an email message
View or hide the email address of a contact
Move to the next message

Press and hold 1.
From the home screen or in the Phone application, press and hold the
key that you would like to assign speed dial to.
Press the key and X. Type the extension number.
Press the key and the letter key.
