Basics
A Make sure that [Network] is selected, and then press [NW Frame Type].
B Select the Frame Type, and then press [OK].

When using the IEEE 1394 Interface (option)

❒ When you use the IEEE 1394 Interface, you cannot use the DHCP. You
must set the fixed IP address.
❒ Be sure to set the IP over 1394 to "Effective". The factory default is set to "Ef-
fective".
A Make sure that [Network] is selected, and then press [IEEE 1394].
B Press [IP Address].
C Use the number keys to enter the IP address, and then press [OK].
D Press [Sub-net Mask].
E Use the number keys to enter the Subnet Mask, and then press [OK].
F Press [IP over 1394].
G Make sure that [Effective] is selected, and then press [OK].

❒ If [Effective] is not selected, press [Effective], and then press [OK].
