Cleaning
Da-Tex®, Dual Vision, Pearlescent, Cinema Vision, High
Power®, Da-Mat®, High Contrast Da-Mat®, Audio Vision, High
Contrast Audio Vision, High Contrast Cinema Vision and High
Contrast Cinema Perf surfaces can be cleaned as follows:

Troubleshooting

Symptom
Screen will not operate.
Motor does not hum.
Incorrect stopping position
in downward direction.
Incorrect stopping position
in upward direction.
Noise.
NOTE: Screen will operate
with a low pitched hum.
Coasting.

Cause
Incorrect line voltage.
Blown fuse.
Tripped circuit breaker.
No power to operating switch or junction.
Power at junction box
Thermal overload tripped.
Broken wire in the "down" or "up" position.
Defective motor, limit switch or capacitor.
Capacitor burned out.
"Down" limit switch out of adjustment.
"Up" limit switch out of adjustment.
Gear Noise
Grinding. Foreign object in screen
rubbing on roller or fabric.
Defective Brake.
Using a white clean cloth (100% cotton preferred) that is
dampened with clear water, gently wipe the area in one direction.
Do not use a circular motion. Using a dry 100% cotton cloth,
wipe dry after each cleaning session. To clean a stubborn stain
or a sticky surface, use denatured alcohol (methanol or methyl
alcohol) following the same procedure as for water.
Solution
Verify 115-125V (or 220-240V). If insufficient voltage,
rewire incoming electric line.
Replace fuse.
Reset circuit breaker.
Check above. Tighten all loose wire connections.
Correct any improper connections.
"Down" Position
Check for power across black and white leads.
"Up" Position
Check for power across red and white leads.
Let motor cool down for 15 minutes. Try again.
Check for continuity. Cut off old splice and reconnect.
Replace motor assembly.
NOTE: Motor is a sealed assembly.
Replace motor assembly.

Replace motor assembly.
Remove.
Replace motor assembly.
