Description
Select the signal based on the external device connected to the [DIGITAL OUT] terminal of
the system. This setting is available when "PCM ONLY" is selected for "DIGITAL AUDIO OUT".
DOLBY SURROUND:
Used for devices that have a built-in Dolby Pro Logic decoder.
STEREO:
Used for other devices.
This function corrects the diff erence in quality between large and small sounds played at
low volume. (This function is valid for DVDs recorded in Dolby Digital format.)
AUTO:
D.RANGE COMPRESSION automatically works when needed.
ON:
D.RANGE COMPRESSION always works.
You can select whether or not the audio signal from the [HDMI MONITOR OUT] terminal is
output.
ON: The audio signal from the [HDMI MONITOR OUT] is output.
OFF: The audio signal from the [HDMI MONITOR OUT] is not output.
NOTE
Depending on the connected TV, when "HDMI AUDIO OUT" is set to "ON", only PCM sig-
nals can be output via an HDMI cable.
