Chapter 8: Troubleshooting

Forgot My Network IP Address

If you forget your network IP address and have no physical access to the system, you can
use the Setup Wizard to retrieve the IP of your N0204 miniNAS.
1. Start the Setup Wizard, and it will automatically detect N0204 miniNAS on your
network.
2. You should be able to find the IP address of the N0204 miniNAS which you have
forgotten in the Device Discovery screen.

Resetting NAS IP Address and Admin Password

In case you changed the N0204 miniNAS IP address and then forgot it, or forgot the
administration password, follow the steps below to reset to the default settings:
1.
Copy the file – Singleusermode from the install CD (Path:
Singleusermode) to any available USB disk at root directory. Note that; please don't
put any other files in this USB disk.
2.
Plug this USB disk into N0204 at front USB 2.0 port and then press the USB copy
button on front panel. The system will reboot to temporary IP address -
192.168.1.100. Please note that all file services at this time will be stopped.
3. Point your browser to 192.168.1.100; the Factory Default Mode screen will be
appears.
4. Select Reset to Factory Default and click Apply.
5. Default IP: HDCP
Default admin password: admin
Jumbo Frame support: Disabled
