Watching TV

Quick start

You can reduce the TV's start-up time after turning on
the power with the remote control unit.
Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

Press c / d to select "Setup".

Press a / b to select "Quick start", and then

press ENTER.
Press a / b to select "On" or "Off ".

On: The TV quickly starts up from standby.
Off: Power consumption is small during
standby.
Language ( 語言 )
You can also select a language from setup menu.
Select from among 3 languages: English, Simplified
Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

Press c / d to select "Setup".

Press a / b to select "Language( 語言 )", and

then press ENTER.
Press a / b to select the desired language

Digital setup

Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

Press c / d to select "Setup".

Press a / b to select "Digital setup", and then

press ENTER.
w Digital audio language
Set up to preferred multi audio languages to display if
the audio languages are available.
Press a / b to select "Digital audio language",

and then press ENTER.
Press a / b to select "1st language" or "2nd

language".
Press c / d to select the desired language.

NOTE
• This function depends on audio language information from
broadcasters.
• If audio for the selected language is not included in a received
broadcast, audio will not be output for that language.

w Subtitle
Each time you press Subtitle on the remote control, the
subtitle switches when the broadcast contains subtitle
information.
Press a / b to select "Subtitle", and then press

ENTER.
Press a / b to select "1st language" or "2nd

language".
Press c / d to select the desired language.

NOTE
• If subtitles for the selected language are not included in a received
broadcast, subtitles will not be shown for that language.
w For hearing impaired
If the broadcast includes subtitles for the hearing
impaired, they will take precedence over other
subtitles.
Press a / b to select "For hearing impaired",

and then press ENTER.
Press a / b to select "On" or "Off".

NOTE
• If the broadcast includes no subtitles for the hearing impaired, they
will not be displayed even when set to "On".

Identification

You can check the current version of the software on
the screen.
Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

Press c / d to select "Setup".

Press a / b to select "Identification", and then

press ENTER.

Reset

If complex adjustments are made and the settings can
not be restored to normal, you can reset the settings
to the factory preset values.
Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

Press c / d to select "Setup".

Press a / b to select "Reset", and then press

ENTER. If you have already set the password,
enter it here.
