Preparation

Set-up the DTV antenna

When you set-up the DTV antenna for the first time,
or connect the antenna to a community antenna, you
need to proceed to set the antenna by following this
manual.
Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

Press c / d to select "Programme setup".

Press a / b to select "Digital setting" and then

press ENTER.
w 5V Antenna Power
Press a / b to select "5V Antenna Power" and then
press ENTER.
Press a / b to select "On" or "Off".

Select "On" when your antenna is set-up

and connected independently.
Typical supply voltage: 5V
Typical supply current: 50mA
Select "Off" when you do not need to

supply voltage to your antenna, i.e.
when your antenna is connected to a
community antenna. (The factory default
setting of this function is "Off".)

Position and align the antenna so that the

maximum possible values for "Signal strength"
and "Signal quality" are obtained.
NOTE
• The values of "Signal strength" and "Signal quality" indicate
when to check the appropriate alignment of the antenna.
