Power Supply

The SuperServer 1017C-TF has a single 330 watt power supply, which is auto-
switching capable. This enables it to automatically sense and operate with a 100v
- 240v input voltage.
If the power supply module fails, the system will shut down and you will need to
replace the module. Replacements can be ordered directly from Supermicro (see
contact information in the Preface). As there is only one power supply module in
the 1017C-TF, power must be completely removed from the server before removing
and replacing the power supply for whatever reason. Replacement modules can be
ordered directly from Supermicro (see contact information in the Preface).
Replacing the Power Supply (Figure 6-6)
1.
First power down the server and unplug the AC power cord from the system.
2.
Unscrew the two screws securing the power supply to the bottom of the chas-
sis.
3.
Replace the failed power module with another of the same model.
4.
Plug the AC power cord back into the module and power up the server.
