connected properly? (see chapter 7.1.)

Yes Is the coil resistance (normal resistance: about 6.7 W) of the hopping motor normal?
Is the paper at the inlet sensor lever?
Yes Remove the paper.
Does the inlet sensor lever operate smoothly?
No Replace the inlet sensor lever
Clean the inlet sensor on the Power/sensor board or replace the Power/sensor
board.
Is the paper fed on the inlet sensor lever?
Yes Does the inlet sensor lever operate smoothly?
No Replace the inlet sensor lever.
Yes Clean the inlet sensor on the Power/sensor board or replace the
Power/sensor board.
(See Fig. 2.3 Sensor Layout Diagram.)
Replace the hopping roller assembly or paper cassette assembly.
Set the paper cassette properly.
Replace the hopping roller gear (one way) or idle gear (HF)
Connect each connector properly or replace the nylon connector cord (white: 9
pins).
