Installing the DSL cable

The SmartNode Model 4830 comes with an option for a G.SHDSL or ADSL interface. For 2GS models, use a
straight-through RJ-45 cable to connect the DSL port. For ADSL and GS models, use a straight-through RJ-11
cable to connect the DSL port. (For a list and description of SmartNode 4830 DSL series model types, refer to
table 3
on page 18).
