Default Configuration Parameters
Table 3-2 lists some of the default settings with which the access point is
configured, including the basic IP address and wireless configuration param-
eters. Information on how to update each parameter is provided later in this
guide.
Table 3-2. Default Parameters
Default Description
admin The name of the manager.
password The password for the manager.
192.168.1.14 IP address compatible with your network.
255.255.255.0 Subnet mask compatible with your network.
not set IP address of the next-hop gateway node for network traffic that needs
to be able to reach off-subnet destinations.
802.11 b/g The default radio mode.
Disabled Both radios are disabled.
wireless-g A pre-configured Service Set Identifier (SSID), also called a wireless
network name.
