Operation
CAUTION: The snap terminal output should be used for loads of 3 amps or
less. The binding post output connectors should be used when the current may
exceed 3 amps.
1.
The Power Supply must be powered using the rated line voltage within + 5%.
2.
Before turning the power supply ON, remove any load and set the Voltage
Adjustment Knob to the full counter-clockwise position ('0' volt output).

The output current is dependent on the output voltage. See the Output
Voltage/Output Current curve below.

The analog display indicates the actual current and voltage output.
5.
Keep the cooling fan area clear of obstacles to prevent overheating. The fan will
operate when the internal temperature reaches 70 degrees and will automatically
shut off when the temperature drops to 40 degrees.
6.
When the Overload LED Indicator lights, remove power to the power supply and
troubleshoot the cause of the overload condition before powering up.

For periodic calibration, NIST certification or repair of any Extech product, call customer
service for details on services available. Extech recommends that calibration be
performed on an annual basis to insure calibration integrity.
