1. IMAGE SHIFT

A margin for binding is created by shifting the original image to either the right or left side. You can also
create binding margins in the centre (inner margin) when using Book-Type Originals to 2-sided copies (see
"5. Book-type Originals to 2-Sided Copies"

Creating a Right or Left Margin

Place paper in the drawer(s).
- "4.SETTING COPY PAPER"
- When using this mode in bypass copying ("Bypass Copying"
Page 61), be sure to specify the paper size.

Place the original(s).
- "1.SETTING ORIGINALS"

Press the [EDIT] button to enter the edit
menu, and then press the [IMAGE SHIFT]
button.

Press the [LEFT] (or [RIGHT]) button
according to your desired binding side.
