Connectivity
You can also synchronize with programs on the Internet using
WAP or HTTP (remote synchronization with Internet services).

Note: When using USB, make sure you only use the USB cable
that comes with the phone.
To select sync order for names
} Phonebook } Options } Advanced } Sync. order
to select the order in which first and last name appear
in the phone when you synchronize contacts.
Synchronization with nearby devices
Install the PC synchronization software from the CD
that comes with your phone or download it from
www.SonyEricsson.com/support. For detailed information,
please refer to the PC synchronization software help.
Remote synchronization with Internet services
Contact Swisscom Mobile Customer Care for more information
about the services on the Internet with which you can
synchronize, and to receive username, password and addresses
for the different services. Swisscom may be able to send you

the synchronization account settings in a message. You need to
have an Internet profile set in your mobile phone %65 Setting
up Internet and email.
To enter the remote synchronization settings
1. } Connectivity } Synchronization } New account.
If you do not have an account, you will be asked if you want
to create an account. } Yes to create a new account.
2. Enter a name for the new account } Continue. A list of
options to enter will appear. Add the server address of the
synchronization server, a server username and a server
password. } OK when you have entered each setting.
3. Select Connection and select the WAP or HTTP profile
that you want to use for the synchronization.
4. Select Remote initiation to set whether to allow
the synchronization server or other device to initiate
a synchronization or not. You can also choose to always
be asked.
5. Select Sync. interval to set how often you want the
phone to automatically connect to the server and start
a synchronization.
6. Select Applications and select the applications that you
want to synchronize, for example, Phonebook } OK.
7. Select Application settings and select application. Enter
the name of the database and, if required, your username
and password } OK.
} Save to save your new account.
