To turn on a secure connection (WAP)
1. } Connectivity } Internet settings } Internet profiles.
2. Highlight a profile, } More } Settings.
3. Turn on security.
Trusted certificates
To establish a secure connection when using certain Internet
services, for example, banking or shopping, you need
certificates in your phone.
Trusted certificates are used to verify the WAP gateway that you
are trying to connect to. Your phone may already contain
trusted certificates when you buy it or you may be able to
download them.
To check the certificates in your phone
1. } Connectivity } Internet settings } Security.
2. Select Trusted cert.

Downloading

Change your phone whenever you want by downloading
new polyphonic ringtones, videos, games, applications
and wallpaper from Vodafone live!
When the UMTS icon is displayed, you will notice an immediate
difference – downloads are significantly faster.

To download pictures and ringtones
1. } My Items } Pictures
2. } More Pictures for images and wallpaper, or } Sounds
} More Sounds for ringtones and sounds.
3. Follow the instructions to download.
To set a downloaded sound as your new ringtone, } My Items
} Sounds } More } Use } Set as ringtone.
To download games
1. } Games } More Games.
2. Follow the instructions to download.

live! Album

Picture upload
With Vodafone live! you can save pictures in a Web-based
album. This is useful if you are running out of phone memory,
or if you wish to share your pictures with friends in a virtual
album that they (and you) can access on the Web. You can
upload a picture in three ways.
To upload a picture
• } My Items } Pictures, select a picture, More } Send
} live! Album.
• From the camera, Capture } Send } live! Album.
