Chapter 2 Preparations
(When 5 Hard Disk Drives are installed)

• If connecting a SATA Hard Disk Drive or solid state drive to an onboard SATA controller
To connect a SATA Hard Disk Drive or solid state drive (hereinafter referred to as Hard Disk Drive) to
the SATA controller, the dedicated cable K410-241(00) is required. Connect cables as instructed in the
image below. Match the number on the SATA connector of the cable with the SATA connector number
on the motherboard. Also connect the cable to the SGPIO connector on the motherboard.
Install Hard Disk Drives from Slot 0 in ascending order.

Tips
• N8154-37 2.5-inch HDD cage for additional drives cannot be installed in liquid cooling
model.
• LED cables attached to the K410-180(00) are not used.
