The manual does not explicitly state whether the igniter for the DCS CT-365SS 5 burner 36" drop-in gas cooktop can be replaced without removing the cooktop. However, it mentions that cooktop removal is required for wiring service and other maintenance tasks, which may include igniter replacement. Therefore, it is likely that removing the cooktop is necessary for replacing the igniter.

The natural gas to propane conversion kit for the DCS CT-365SS cooktop is identified as CKL—CT365. It includes main burner orifices, simmer burner orifices, valve bypass jets, a conversion sticker, and valve stem C-clips. This kit must be installed by a qualified service agency following the manufacturer’s instructions and local codes.
