12. If required, disconnect the RS-232 rear panel port on the VP-727A-BA
unit from the Null-modem adapter.
13. On the rear side, slide the SETUP DIP 1 to OFF.
14. Connect the power to the VP-727A-BA.
Upon initialization, the new VP-727A-BA software version shows in the
STATUS 7-segment Display.
