INTRODUCTION HOW TO USE THIS SERVICE MANUAL AND CONTACT CUSTOMER SUPPORT SERVICES This service manual is applicable to Model LS 9100 (heart rate function via telemetry) and Model LS 9500HR (heart rate function via Lifepulse digital sensors and telemetry) belt drive stairclimbers. Information is appropriate to both models unless otherwise noted.

The test sequence below will repeat for about 1.5 minutes. The unit will then exit the test mode and return to normal operation.

Pressing the number ‘1’ key during the ‘walking LED’ test will initiate the Alternator / Step height monitor. a. The alternator loading duty cycle (0 -100%) will be displayed in the upper right (TIME) display window.

Pressing the ‘4’ key during the ‘walking LED’ test will initiate the EEROM status / clear test. An EEROM chip test will be performed and the status of the non-volatile memory chip will be displayed in the VF message center.

Press Start/Enter key to scroll forward to Diagnostic State 3 or press the Clear/Pause key to scroll backward to Diagnostic State 1.
