Presetting RDS stations
(RDS AUTO MEMORY)
This functron automatrcally stores up to 40 RDS stations rn the preset
memory. In order to use the PTY function, the RDS statrons must be
stored rn the preset memory using the RDS AUTO MEMORY functron
TUNER MULTI CONTROL

Press the TUNER key to enter tuner mode.
m Use the BAND key to set the broadcast band to "FM".
0 Press the MEMORY key continuously for more than 3
seconds will start AUTO MEMORY.

Aftera few mrnutes, up to 40 RDS statrons are preset in order from
channel
"01".
l
Statrons already stored rn the preset memory may be replaced by
RDS statrons. (I e , If the RDS AUTO MEMORY function detects 15
RDS statrons. the statrons currently preset at numbers 01-15 will
be replaced by the RDS stations 1

(PTY search)
This function lets you set the tuner to automatically search for stations
whrch are currently broadcastrng the type of program (genre) you want
to listen to.
Under certain receiving conditions, it may take more than 1
minute to complete the search.

Press the PTY key to activate the PTY search mode.
Light up
When an RDS broadcast IS recerved, the program type IS shown on
the drsplay If no PTY data IS available, or If the statroll IS not an RDS
station, "NONE" IS drsplayed

While the "PTY" indicator is lit, use the Joystick (A/V) or
TUNEB 44 /,b keys select the program type of your
choice.
