2-2. Ribbon Installation

1. Place the printer
on a horizontal
surface, and open
the top cover.
2. Follow the
sequence and
direction as the
figure shows, pull
the Print Head
Lever out and flip it
upward to the right.
3. Place a new ribbon
roll onto the
Ribbon Supply
Shaft and place the
empty ribbon roll
onto the Ribbon
Rewind Shaft.
4. The right-bottom
figure shows two
different installing
directions
according to
different types of
ribbons.
