If you are using the AccuMic II included with your V-there, ClearOne recommends that you do not change this value, since higher values make the V-There more sensitive to audio input and might adversely affect echo cancellation. -

This means that the call was placed by specifying a routing of networks. The most likely reason is that V-There is attached to a local PABX, which attempts to route calls using a “cheapest” route method, which is currently unavailable.
