Outside Air Leakage
Irregular or unlevel flooring along with an uneven wall
may cause air leakage below the vertical classroom unit ven-
tilator. To help prevent cold drafts from entering the
classroom, Trane recommends an insulated pad to be
placed below the unit ventilator. This field supplied
pad aids in blocking the cold air from entering the
room. This pad is not needed in most applications.
