TUC
TUC Controller
The terminal unit control
(TUC) board is a factory in-
stalled DDC offering for class-
room unit ventilator
systems. It is designed to
support either:
• An Integrated Comfort
system (ICS)
• A standalone
configuration
The classroom unit ventilator con-
trols will be configured at the fac-
tory per the application.
Additionally, the configuration can
be adjusted by using the service
tool software, EveryWare
field.
Integrated Control System
When classroom unit ventilators
are applied in combination with an
integrated controller, like the TUC,
and the Tracer Summit system,
the unit ventilator will operate as
part of a large building automation
system. Diagnostics can be re-
ceived remotely by a modem, al-
lowing the service or maintenance
technician to diagnose a failure or
maintenance situation before
comfort is compromised
ducing the number of on-site ser-
vice calls. See Figure 28 for
TUC/ICS control system.
