STEP 2: Connect to WLAN

Socket's SDIO WLAN Utility for Pocket PC 2002 lets you create, save, and
connect to different WLAN profiles. For help, tap Start | Help.
Note: The instructions below are for connecting to a WLAN that the card
detects. If you would like to connect to a WLAN that the card does not
detect, use the SDIO WLAN Utility to create a new profile. Refer to the
"Configure Network Settings" section in Chapter 5, "SDIO WLAN Utility."
1. A few seconds after you insert the WLAN card, the Socket status icon
will appear in the menu bar. Tap on the icon. In the pop-up menu, tap
Configuration.
2. The Config screen will appear, reporting a list of Active SSIDs in range.
Scroll right to view the properties of each network. Select the SSID of
the network you wish to connect to, then tap Add.
3. Select the SSID of the network you wish to connect to, then tap Add.
Note:
If your SSID is not listed, tap Refresh to search for more WLANs.
If your WLAN does not show its SSID, it may be listed as blank.
